I started a website with another friend, back in 2009. It was called You Won’t Go Blind. It was hard to maintain all the affiliates, posts and networking, especially because I had no clue what I was doing and, quite frankly, neither did she.

Well, after inspecting other sites similar to how I wanted YWGB to be, I finally decided to relaunch with a game plan.

I tweeted for contributing writers, claiming there was no money involved and OMG, did I ever get a response. They didn’t care that I can’t pay them. That’s love.

I am so honored to have some amazing writers join me. We’ll be tackling all sorts of topics in a non-p0rn type way, because I never intended for it to be a p0rn site. There will be something for everyone!

I’m in the process of sweeping, dusting and fluffing the pillows of the boudoir so that we are presentable for guests when the french doors finally open. I just have to figure out how to rearrange the furniture, it’s not so easy for me.

Then it will finally be as awesome as its name.

My hope is to launch in January, around the 6th.

During preschool parent-teacher conferences…yes, my son’s preschool has p-t conferences…

I was told that, due to his social immaturity and inability to completely grasp the alphabet…

That perhaps…

We should STRONGLY consider a growth year.

And she recommended a year of private kindergarten, which they happen to offer where he is.

But, this “growth year” that he allegedly needs…

would cause a major balls in cold water shrinkage in our bank account.

But lets backtrack here.

The alphabet.

Bull. Crap.  That he doesn’t know his letters…both lower and UPPER case.

He isn’t showing his teacher what he knows.  And she’s falling for it.

Because he knows…every freaking letter…

BIG and small.

UPPER and lower.

Except for Uu.

He can’t.  For the life of him…

EVER remember what Uu is.

And he gets Ii confused.

But don’t ask him Y…

because apparently…

to him…

the alphabet is NOT

About U.

Or I…

Wanting him to admit that he knows the letters.

When all he wants to do is get U and I off his case…

So that he can go back to doing what is SUPER important to him…

And that…

Is playing with action figures…

By himself.  Because no one else likes to “bam” the same way that he does.

Which is what is being mistaken for social immaturity…

So…

He is letting U think that he is socially immature.

He is letting U think that he doesn’t know all the letters.

So that U (and I) leave him alone.

And to that I say…

Apparently…between U and I…
My kid is a genius…and I just told U Y!

Obviously…a growth year isn’t needed.
He…needs to start college…immediately.
Can U say Doogie Hauser?

We soaked the crusty, boogary boy in the tub.
And there went Bobby the Boogar.
He unattached himself from the boys neck.
And he went…
Floating in the water…
playing in the tub with the kid and his action figures.
But then…
it was time to get out of the tub.
Time…
to say our goodbyes to
Bobby the Boogar…
as he swirled,
and twirled,
and danced his way
towards the drain.

No tears were shed.
Just smiles.
And waves.
And shared memories of the trip to the doctors office…
and the struggle with the nurse over a throat culture.
Good times. Good. Times.

So…
Good bye Bobby the Boogar.
Happy trails.
May you find yourself a giant rat…
or an alligator…
to cling to, within the tunnels
of the sewer systems.

No pictures were taken of the aftermath.
We want to hold on to the memories of the way Bobby was.
Not how mushy he became in the bathtub.
I’m SURE you understand.

HMMM…I’m sure that even the serf birth Mother could figure that one out…and she was born with a lack of brain function…or maybe just smoked too much pot? ANYWAYS…

So…while the Princess was NOT banished to the dungeons because her room could be mistaken for one due to the messiness…
She is FORBIDDEN from all things electronic. And…from all things smaller than…Oh, say one square foot…

Although…
I’m fairly certain that she could lose something of that size, too.
