As a writer and blogger, I’m constantly looking for different writing programs to try. I love Google Docs and I use my Macs Pages but sometimes, I need to mix things up without spending a fortune. I’ve bought Scrivener and haven’t figured out how to use it. It sits unused on my desktop, despite the fact I even bought the Scrivener for Dummies book. Sigh.
There are so many different free writing tools available around the web, some better than others. Well, I decided to compile a list of free writing tools that I would actually want to try for myself. The 14 free writing tools I have listed are strictly for writing, whether solo or collaboratively. They are all available for download via the links I’ve shared.
