Disclaimer: I was given a pair of Sol Republic Tracks Air Wireless Headphones retail cost $199 in exchange for an honest review. And that is exactly what I’ll do, review honestly. All opinions are my own and I’m very opinionated. 

 

I hate those little earbud headphones. I can never find the right little tip thingies that will fit comfortably and securely in my ear so instead, I’m constantly fidgeting with them or trying to stick them back inside my ear canal. Yeah, not a fan. I mean, I have really nice earbuds, they are pink and shiny. I like pink and shiny. And they sound fine but the minute I start walking on the treadmill, I want to rip them from my head and throw them across the room.

So, when I got this email asking me if I wanted to review these Sol Republic Tracks Air Wireless headphones that were completely wireless AND didn’t have those little buds that allegedly fit into your ear, I was all like..YEAH!!

I received them. And I tried them. First, I watched Vikings while I pounded away on the treadmill.  I could finally hear what the actors were saying, it was a pre-Holiday Miracle.

Then, I used them to talk on the phone. Because they have a microphone which allows you to use your phone. And not only could I hear what the caller was saying but they could hear me, too. I mean…what?! That’s never happened before, not with any of the headphones I’ve ever owned. I couldn’t have it both ways, the jerks.

Anyway, and I’m totally not just saying this because I received these Sol Republic Tracks Air headphones for review…but OMG I LOVE THEM.

Now for the stats. I’m not a techie so I’m going to just take this info right from their official webpage:

You can hook the headphones up to two devices wirelessly. So, I have mine hooked up to my phone and iPad (but I’m considering switching one out to connect to my Mac).

There is 150 feet of wireless range which..that’s pretty far!

It comes with a carrying case. The headphones are practically indestructible but I’m not giving them to my 11 year old, I’m not willing to risk it!

Great sound. Lightweight. Comfy pads. Controls are directly on the right side earpiece. Easy to use. Easy to sync. I’m loving mine. And guess what? I was told I can give a pair away to one of my lucky readers.  Sadly, I didn’t get this review done in time for the holidays so, I’ll run this giveaway until January 1st.       I must admit, I really love mine. I briefly considered giving them to my husband when I was done reviewing them but I just can’t. I’ll let him borrow them though!

      I just think earbuds are uncomfortable! I love the headphones, so much easier to work with! And these are really lightweight, you forget that they are on your head!
