I’ve lost a dear friend to cancer. So has my 13 year old daughter. My cousin, uncle, aunt, friends, people I know, people you know…have cancer or will be diagnosed with this horrible disease.
It’s rampant. And it needs to be stopped. It’s taking too many lives.
We need to find a cure.
Every year, there is a Relay For Life held in West Bloomfield. It’s unbelievably moving how many teams are out there walking for or in honor of someone dear to them. It’s heartbreaking and it’s uplifting.
People are good. They come together to help lift each other up and support each other for an amazing cause.
BUT…
This year there is a need for more food donations. Food donations bring in a huge amount of money to give to the American Cancer Society so that they can continue what it is they do best and that is find a way to fight this awful disease.
Metro Detroit and the surrounding area restaurants and food services, I’m begging you…
DONATE FOOD.
Please contact lraitt@comcast.net to find out how you can help with this important and amazing cause that is going on on June 4th.
Thank you.
