Do you ever wish that you could reach deep down into that pit of “only you know what’s really there”?
That heavy space where, in a tight ball, “everything you’ve ever felt or wanted to say and never did” is stored for safe keeping.
They stay, not because you couldn’t find the “exact right words at the exact right time”.
Those things you never said. That you sometimes tug out of that ball from within that pit. And you read it, over and over again. Your mantra.
Secretly. Quietly. Letting the letters loose to form the words you really feel roll around your tongue tickling the roof of your mouth, almost trying to make their way out.
Never letting those thoughts, those words, escape past your lips. Because if they did, they would surely cause a hole deep within the one who received them.
But don’t you just wish.
Every once in awhile.
You could clean out that space?
Don’t you just wish.
Every once in awhile.
You could take out that ball and throw it
without worrying about the hole in would surely cause deep within someone else
Because you are more concerned about the hole it’s causing within you?
Yes. So, so much yes.

Yes. Yes. Yes. Sometimes it’s all I can do to contain those things that I KNOW should be said but I can’t say them because they’ll just hurt everyone – or someone – and I would hurt No one.
BTW – do you have any idea why your posts from the last 10 days just showed up in my reader ALL AT ONCE?

I know if I let some of those words go – they will mortally wound the one they would be directed too – so I keep them stuffed deep down.
By the way – I’m now getting all the updates! YAY!. Would you mind emailing what you did? I have another blog friend who isn’t updating – but she doesn’t know how to fix it.

OMG, nobody could have said this better, or put words to that like you did! I am going to reread this a few times, you never cease to amaze me with the profoundness to your words!
