Wendy’s Pick 2 Review and Gift Card Giveaway

Last week, a bunch of us Michigan Bloggers were guests of Wendy’s to try their new Pick 2 campaign.

We had some Western Michigan bloggers in, which was a rare treat. Jill from Diaper Diaries, Deb from Mom of 3 Girls, Jenn from Big Binder were all here to have lunch. Plus, some of my local loves…Livin’ LaVida Lori, Free Is My Life and 5 Dollar Shake (Jenn).

First of all, what a great way to spend a whole hour in the middle of the afternoon, hanging with friends that we hardly get to see!! THAT made it worthwhile, in my book.

So this Pick 2 deal that Wendy’s has started? I like it. You get a choice of a 1/2 order of one of their premium salads, which is PLENTY BIG, trust me. And then, you can chose either a baked potato, a small chili, a bottled water, chicken to go wraps or a small frosty/soft drink. For $4.99. Not bad, me thinks.

I had the BLT Cobb and a baked potato. It was yummy and I didn’t feel guilty for eating at a fast food joint because it was fairly healthy. I just put a tiny bit of the Avocado Ranch dressing on (not a big dressing fan over here).

All of us bloggers were presented with a $7 Wendy’s gift card. So, when I added a large diet Coke, it came to $7.40. For a filling lunch, and I’m not kidding when I tell you I didn’t eat the rest of the day…it was a very reasonable deal.

Next time, and yes…there WILL be a next time. I’m ordering a baked potato and the chili. Wendy’s chili is my FAVORITE!!

Fun day, decent food, great price point. And, the thing I really appreciate about Wendy’s is their food is always fresh and you can taste the difference.

    That’s good to know….being a working mom, sometimes I’m just too tired to come home & dish out the 5-course meal..Wendy’s is always an excellent alternative! Thanks =)

    This is perfect for me. I like their BLT Cobb salad but it is so big that I am tired of it before I finish. To pair it with something else would be great.
