It’s that time again, flu season is almost upon us and it’s time to consider vaccinating our families. Because, you know, the current season is always way worse than the previous one. Allegedly.

Bring the kids, of course. It’s Halloween themed so they can come on out with their costumes.

Cost Info: Flu shot $25 – and at least 24 free flu shots will be available. FluMist $30(which, my family prefers because we are all chickens when it comes to shots). Pneumonia shot $50. VNA is able to bill the following insurances: Blue Care Network, Medicare, HAP, Health Plus of Michigan and Priority Health. VNA also accepts cash; checks should be made payable to VNHSS.

Also? I have a giveaway for ya.
A flu prevention gift basket with Clorox hand sanitizer, disinfecting wipes, a $25 Target gift card, a trick-or-treat bag with goodies like Silly Bandz and stuff… for two lucky winners, which will be drawn randomly. To enter the Clorox giveaway, you have to go toSay Boo To The Flu and pledge to vaccinate a certain number of family members and also, enter the Wizarding World of Harry Potter sweepstakes. Come back and report that you did all this in the comments section of my blog.

If you are uncomfortable about making a pledge because you don’t want to get vaccinated, you can tweet about the Clorox sweepstakes using the #Boo2TheFlu hashtag instead or post the link to this post on your facebook page and leave a comment letting me know what you did!

This giveaway ends on October 18th and the winners will be announced on October 19th. This giveaway is open to everyone 18 and over in the U.S.
