It was a few years ago, back in 1989. I was 1/2 the age I am now. Sigh. He emerged from his Sixteen Candles dweeb chrysalis and became Lloyd Dobler in Say Anything. 
I was in heat…er…love. I mean, who didn’t want him as their main love interest? Cute, sweet, sensitive, romantic. Cute.
John Cusack. The mere name sent me into a frenzy, running to buy tickets, hoping his movies didn’t sell out on opening night. Despite the fact that I walked out on The Grifters. Hated. It. But, nonetheless…
He’s always been my favorite. Well, besides Jason Bateman, George Clooney, Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, Simon LeBon, John Taylor and Bon Jovi, to name a few. But yeah, he’s in my top 100 favorite men that I wouldn’t kick out of my bed for making crumbs mind hanging out with.
Which brings me to last night. When I was throwing my virtual bra on the twitter stage, just to get some attention. Because I’m crazy like that. John Cusack, who switched his Twitter name from Shockazulu to well, John Cusack, was tweeting about Hot Tub Time Machine. Which is what he has been doing a lot lately (crazy misspelled tweets that he does). And this is where my black lacy bra tweet came in…
I said “My kids loved the movie. But I’m mortified to say that I haven’t seen it yet. I want to. Badly.” Yep, see how risque and slutty I can be on Twitter. I know, I’m ashamed. So forward. My mother would be so upset to know the type of floozy-esque tweets her daughter is throwing out into cyberspace.
But my hot tweet was naught in vain. Oh no. It was answered, it was…
My longtime love finally noticed me. Well, kinda. Though, he lumped me into the “sir” category along with some rotten cheese guy. I guess that maybe, if you’ve been drinking or something. Or, your eyes don’t work the way they used to. Then perhaps I look like a long haired hippie dude…sir…in my tweet. But whatever. I’m not picky. I favorited that tweet like I would have left a cheek unwashed after an innocent kiss. Forever, I will save it. Never to erase it from my tweet history. I was *this* close to John Cusack, in the virtual sense, of course and I still have my favorite black bra to boot.
That is what dreams are made of… very cool.

That is so funny! Things like that make me giddy too!. I have a total girl crush on Nia Vardalos. She answered a tweet of mine once, and I haven’t been the same since. She sent it as a DM though…..not quite the same.
I think you should twitpic him a picture of you in your black bra. That will reinforce that you are def NOT a “sir”. 😉

I cannot tell you the rise in my temperature this caused. If I had gotten that close to him, it would have been a 24 hour cold shower (if YOU know what I mean, LOL). My heart was racing and I can, maybeeeee, feel your excitement over his response. I wouldn’t have minded if he called me “sir”, “jackass”, or WHAT-e-VER, just as long as I received a personal tweet from him.

So lucky! I love, love, love John Cusack. I have for as long as I can remember. I was born in 1982, but I was exposed to his early hits by my older sisters at some point. I was in love the first time I saw him! I have adored him ever since. He is, actually, my favorite male actor. He is so freaking adorable and endearing.

This is so cool! I compare it to when I made google eyes at Robert Redford from behind a simple rope as he stood not five feet away. He was filming Ordinary People in downtown Chicago. Alas, I had no black bra to grab his attention.
