Basie and Paisley Book Review And Giveaway.

I’m so behind on my posting. And don’t even get me started on my laundry. It’s crazy around here. But, I had to stop my studying and kvetching to tell you about my friend Jim Millers childrens book AND to give them away to one lucky person!!

Let’s talk about Basie and Paisley. Basie has a spider that lives in his belly button…or does he? And then there is Paisley who has a monstrous smile when she loves something. I think you should check out their website at Basie And Paisley. It gives all sorts of pertinent author information as well as where to purchase these books if you don’t win them.

Basie. Adorable Basie. His book is ” A Spider Lives In My Belly Button”. This one is my favorite of the two, although, I loved both of them. He is a lovable little, not scary at all, monster who tells you all about what is in his belly button. The story is precious and will easily become your childs favorite. It’s easy to read and holds kids attention. The graphics are sweet and the colors are easy on the eyes.

Paisley. Her book is “A Monstrous Smile”. She loves so many things that make her smile! This book was my sons Kindergarten class favorite!! Paisley is a pink and green monster who is so cute and bouncy. This book is easy to read and holds the attention of the real life monsters!

Leslie Kelly, the illustrator for both books, does a great job of making both monsters so lovable.

I love these books. Truly. I love that my 6 year old son wants me to read them to him at night. There is something about the two monsters that are so endearing and is sure to put a smile on your face as you read their little stories to your children.
