I DVR’d the episode of Jon & Kate – went to watch it last night – and within the first 15 minutes, realized that I could not watch it – didn’t want to watch it, and hit the delete button. I find the whole thing, for lack of a colorful word, SAD.

Hmm…I will have to go searching on You Tube – I totally missed the whole Adam Lambert thing – I never really watch the Award Shows – they are long & drawn out and the song performances usually suck, in my opinion anyway.

I’m with you on basically all of this. This Adam Lambert thing – well, you know me…I am about as liberal as they come. I’d rather see people of the same sex kissing each other than watch them beat each others asses on UFC any day. To me that is much more natural. And honestly, I’d rather my kid see that, too (not that I am running around looking for the chance for my kid to watch people make out). But that’s just me.

I am cutting back on TV – I have writing to do, Paintings to create and Photoshop to learn – none of which gets done if I’m sitting in front of the TV. Now – if I can just wean myself off of Farmville ….

I think we need more sex on TV – no – now that I think about it – that would be a bad idea. Then I’d NEVER get anything done.

I knew there was a reason I don’t watch much TV. So glad I missed all that Lambert drama.

For years I’ve felt our country has been turned into a nation of voyeurs. I can remember the days that even married couples on TV couldn’t be seen in the same bed. I’m not a prude, but day-um… some of the stuff on TV now would have been rated X when I was my kids’ age.
