Ziggy Marley is bringing music to the LITTLE people! He is releasing his first children’s album and has invited some family and pretty cool friends to join him on it. Jack Johnson, Laurie Berkner, Elizabeth Mitchell and Jamie Lee Curtis are only a few of the artists featured on the CD Family Time, in stores May 5th. In addition to some well known classics like “This Train” and “Hold Him Joe” Ziggy has written many original songs on this release which are endearing tributes to his family with many sage words of wisdom for kids.

“Growing up, music was an important part of my childhood. I see it being just as important in my children and all children’s growth and development, to help them grow with open minds and open hearts… This record represents my daily family life and is inspired by my three-year-old daughter Judah and baby Gideon. It was a joy to make and opened up new avenues in my creativity.”

    My granddaughters love reggae music…it’s great for kids to dance around the house while listening!
    I’d give the iPod Shuffle to my daughter as a surprise gift…she’s such a great Mom!

    I know our 3 children would love, love this CD! They are already used to listening to music, even at such a young age. We love reggae music and music of all genres so this CD would be for them, as well as my husband and I to all enjoy together and when we have friends over. I have loved Ziggy Marley for years and Jammin’ is probably my favorite song, although I don’t think there a song he has done that I don’t love! Thanks so much for the chance to enter.

    The fact that your older chiildren didn’t run screaming says a lot. I’m all for the music that I can listen to — over and over — without wanting to drink a gallon of wine!
