I looked out my window this morning, as I was making my coffee…from my new $9 coffee maker from Target. And what a sight! A mommy duck and all of her perfect, gorgeous, sweet little babies. Swimming around my pool. Eating my tadpoles. Good thing a bazillion of those sperm shaped little critters have been rescued and are residing safely in aquariums and tupperware bowls at my sons preschool.
But look at those babies! I want to go out there and catch them!! Aren’t they so precious?!
Instead, I’ll just look out my window. And watch them. As they follow their mother around the pool. And I’ll think about how jealous I am that HER children actually eat the food she’s offering. AND…they actually listen to her.
Maybe I need to take lessons from this duck on how to raise my children. Minus the tadpolemeal.
great idea! Going online to see if any duck classes are being offered.
Yeah, I used the quacking method. Okay, my kids might call it yelling, but I like quacking must better.
Sweet with just enough hA! to make me happy. Yes, little ducklings, eat yer tadpoles!
Maybe the secret is the tadpoles, try feeding them to your kids and see what happens. HA!
Awwwww! *Gush*
How darling!! Ducklings are my soft spot. This post just melted my heart….thanks a lot!!
You have a regular wild kingdom there.
Funny how it looks so easy from afar.
Oh, the cuteness!!
