The Town surrounding the Kingdom was MUCH different, once upon a time…a long, long time ago.
There were record stores…that sold RECORDS.
There were candy stores…that sold CANDY.
There was Tobacco Road…that sold pot in the back room…
Things…were different. Different. But good.
Once upon a time, a long, long time ago…in the Kingdom…
You could go to a movie theater and the only signs you would see before you walked in to the auditorium would be signs like…
Please Keep Your Mouth Shut.
Please No Smoking…Or If You Must Smoke…Choke On It.
Please Put The Litter In The Proper Receptacle Such As Your Pockets.
Please Don’t Throw Candy…Like The Green Ju-Ju Bees.
Please Take Your Crying Baby Out In The Lobby.
Royal signage such as the aforementioned…were COMMONPLACE.
Today…things have changed in the Kingdom.
Record Stores are OBSOLETE.
Candy Stores are OBSOLETE.
Tobacco Road…OBSOLETE…or perhaps…fined heavily and shut down?
And signage at the theatre…or is it theater?
You see this…
But I guess…
In the Kingdom that is not once upon a time, a long, long time ago…
turning off your cell phone…and NOT texting…
Is the same thing as telling the royal subjects…
