Every weekend.
Every school break.
Every summer, all summer long…
The King thinks it’s his turn to sleep…
ALL MORNING LONG…
Because NO ONE ELSE is as tired as he is…
NOPE.
AND…NO ONE else works as hard as he does…
Absolutely not!
No matter what is going on around him.
No matter who is crying…
or fighting…
or screaming…
or whining…
or complaining…
The King does not stir.
Because…
The Queen will, inevitably…
get her tired ass out of bed.
To make breakfast for all the monsters.
And a pot of coffee…to share with the King.
And to bash heads together.
But…
The only thing that made him stir this morning…
was the gentle click…
of the camera on my phone.
And the only words that he said was…
“Oh my god…you’re blogging about me!”
Yep. I am!
Because…THAT is WHY I HAVE A BLOG!!
Now go back to sleep…
Very clever…time to get up KING.

OMG !! You kill me !! Mine is the same way and I even call him the King because of his name. But g-d forbid we ever get to sleep in.
