It gurgled.
It shook spastically.
It refused to agitate.
Dirty was the new black, in my house.
Dingy was the new white.
Crusty was the new brand of underwear.
Shaggy was the new brand of socks.
Intervention was needed.
Quickly.
Before it called kaput on the whole washing gig.
So we bit the bullet.
And we went to the store.
And…
We dished out some dough…
and not as much because…
SALES!!!
And yesterday…
Brand spanking, High Efficiency NEW became the new, up-and -coming…OLD!!!
Ain’t she a beaute?
Yeah…
In my house…
Doing laundry is now…
the new FUN!!
I love mine. I agree. The actual washing part is fun – it’s the folding and putting away part that stinks.
A new machine that works can make a world of difference! Congrats:)
I loved mine too–until I was back to 5 loads every two days again. Unfortunately it is now again just a washing machine. Have fun though:).
Yeah!!!
Happy New Year.
I can’t wait until we move so I can get a new washer. (Our new house is going to be built and doesn’t come with a washer/dryer) My washer/dryer now is from Sears Roebuck & Co. (as it says) and is probably from the 70’s. Barely works, doesn’t dissolve powder soap, and the dryer has to run almost 2 cycles to dry anything!
Lucky you!
Congrats! I got new machines last year and doing my weekly multiple loads is way more fun. Now I just wish they would fold and sort themselves!
Great post. “Crusty was the new brand of underwear” made me laugh out loud. 🙂
