Snuggling in bed. Watching Danny Phantom with the little guy. A very lazy Saturday morning.
He turns to me. And looks at me so seriously. He grabs my face with his little hands.
“Mommy. I can do the Jonah and the Whale puzzle. All. By. Myself.”
“Oh, you have a Jonah and the Whale puzzle at school?” I ask.
“Yes Mommy. And I wanted to know how to do it so badly. So…I taught myself how to do it. I can teach myself how to do anything. And then, I’ll know how to do it.”
“You much have been so proud that you taught it to yourself AND were able to do it!! That’s AWESOME!!” I exclaimed.
“Yes Mommy. I was really, really, really proud. And I’m going to teach myself how to do lots more things. But Mommy?”
“Yes honey.”
“Can you go make me breakfast now?”
“Hey…you can go teach yourself how to make toast!!” I said, jokingly.
“No Mommy. That’s your job!!”
bwahahaha! That is priceless.
Haha.. too funny 🙂
