The country…neigh…the world…is in economic collapse. We are teetering on the precipice of a greater depression than the original Great Depression. Yet…
Richard Garriott, a computer fantasy game millionaire…he reportedly paid 30 MILLION dollars to take a little tour of the cosmos.
Yes people…he is aboard the Russian Soyuz Rocket, alongside some true astronauts who are going on a trip in a little rocket ship, zooming through the skies…
But HOLY COW…
30…THIRTY…MILLION. DOLLARS!
I’ll go out on a limb here and reckon a guess that…his account hasn’t been greatly disturbed by this.
Well…
good for him, I guess. To be 47 and live out a childhood fantasy.
My childhood fantasy is to be a multimillionaire.
I have about 200 dollars in my bank account.
Who do I make the check out to, so I can live out my fantasy?
I am amazed at that. If you have that kind of money I guess you can do whatever you want with it, but day-um… I have to think what he could have spent it on to do good things with it instead.
We’re little einsteins! Sorry had to finish it.
U second Kim’s comment!
With 30 million dollars my husband could build nice houses for every homeless person in THIS STATE. Well, maybe except for Louisville. But still.
Sometimes I feel like writing these uber-rich people and saying “HEY, I’m kinda strapped for cash this month – think you could pay my mortgage for me this month out of the kindness of your heart?”
I mean seriously – what would it be to them?! A tax write off!
