“Mommy…I’m NOT living with you ANYMORE!” my youngest yelled at me in frustration.
“OK honey. And…where do you think you want to live?” I asked…trying not to laugh. Because…he is super serious AND it’s REALLY funny!!
“I’m going to live with A!” he tells me, with a tone of finality.
“That’s fine. I’m sure she’d love to have you.”
“And Mommy. I’m NOT R. anymore. I’m having a different name. So you won’t know who I am.”
“OH? What do you think you’re changing your name to?”
“I’m telling A. to change my name to GOD. And then you’ll never find me again. Because my name will be GOD.”
Well…he already THINKS he’s God so…he might as well have his name changed to God!
I love this! You’ve got to wonder how he came up with that name.
Oh the little stinker! 😉
Mercy on us. That’s too funny but isn’t he a bit young to be running away already?
gotta love a kid who thinks big.
and as for running away? i always offered to help my kids pack….
When we were moving, J found a very dramatic “running away” note that my pre-teen had written. It was pretty funny!
I love his new name, too.
Okay he is too cute and funny! Tell him he can come stay with me. It’d be a little boyfriend for my 4 1/2 year old little girl. He’s cute so I approve and with a sense of humor like that, he’ll go far in life.
HA! GOD! That’s hilarious. Where do kids come up with these ideas?
