Ike has come to Michigan. Dark skies. Rain. And…
Frogs in my pool.
And of course, the little guy HAD to find them, didn’t he?
And he haaaaaaaaad to bring them into the house, didn’t he?
And he haaaaaaaaad to keep them, didn’t he?
Of course he did!
So my husband trekked down into the dungeon and found the aquarium from when we had tadpoles…
and cleaned it out…
and put fresh water into it…
and found rocks from the garden…
and went to the pet store for some crickets…
and put the stinking frogs into their new home…thankyouverymuch.
So, for now, we are a happy home to two very slimy frogs. One named Ike. The other…Tina. Have no clue which is which.
BTW…the kitten is Delilah. The kitty that my friend found that I had to hand raise. She is 4 months old now. And…my little girl…
You are good parents! I would have freaked out. And not in a nice way at all.
Yea for frogs and hurray for kittens! Love the pix!
I like frogs, but of the various animals our sons kept, the frogs smelled the worst. But, maybe that was because we fed them earthworms.
Cute post, I think Ike and Tina… hilarious!
Cute kitty too .. I wish I weren’t allergic 😉
Sorry, I’m laughing. I couldn’t help it. Btw…do frogs and kittens mix?
Cute – and funny that so quickly those frogs have become family members!
