There is this thing called Bunk1. Camps take pictures throughout the day and then they upload them onto this site.
Then…we parents, whose children are at camp…we stalk this site. And we scrutinize the pictures on the perchance that we catch a glimpse of our camper children.
Then…if we do happen to find a picture of our children…we analyze their facial expressions and take notice of the kids that are surrounding them…to make sure that they are happy.
If they don’t look happy…we shut down our computers and whip out the stationary. We pen letters to our children asking them why they look so distressed and miserable and ask them if they want to come home.
Then…we stalk the site again…looking for a change in facial expression on a different photo of our camper children.
If we don’t find another picture we then proceed to sit by the mailbox and wait for a letter from our children…letting us know that they are, in fact, miserable and want to come home…er…perfectly happy but please send care packages.
Then finally…after diligently and obsessively stalking Bunk1, neglecting our family AND blogs…we find pictures like this…
My daughters. Perfectly happy. But…they both want more care packages!
With pictures like this…I’ll send them ANYTHING they want…even the forbidden candy, tucked carefully and lovingly within a stuffed animals innards!!
Yes Yes Candy… they look sooo happy. Camp is all good!
awww…. that’s great….I remember going to camps when I was little….great experiences and great memories…..
How cute! So glad they’re having fun!
You must be thrilled to know they’re happy!
What a GREAT picture!?!? I would send them anything, too!!
That’s such a great pic!
They are so gorgeous!
Seriously, could they get any cuter? The younger ones hair is absolutely beautiful, but I’m sure she hates the curls, huh!?
Awww … they look so sweet! They both are adorable.
Very cute! I have such good memories of camp and now I send my kids to the same camp when we can afford it.
